locksmith, Inn and Paul Darius: Jurassic Park 3D

The inaugural locksmith, Inn Visitor-in-Residence Paul Darius is a Berlin-based artist. He stayed in a locksmith, Inn studio at the California Institute of the Arts for two weeks, interacting with students and faculty. Working collaboratively with locksmith, Inn, Darius created an installation based on administrative communication techniques and the remnants of student work found on California Institute of the Arts shared laptops. A vernissage was held on February 28, 2013 in an alcove under the main staircase where there is an emergency exit for the library, thus activating a space that was normally not used for student activity.
